Welcome to True Nature Yoga. My goal as a yoga teacher is to create a safe and supportive environment in which one can explore the body / mind / spirit connection. My hope is that you will come and experience for yourself the many benefits of a yoga practice.
Each class begins with centering - a time for you to “land”, quiet the mind and bring the focus inward. At this point, we establish awareness of the breath - which remains the focal point throughout the class. Warming up the body, we begin to link movement and breath. This flow continues with the practice of classic hatha yoga postures or asana, designed to increase strength, flexibility and balance. We complete the class with deep relaxation to allow integration of what we have experienced. This allows you to take what you’ve learned “off the mat” and into your daily life.
The beauty of yoga is that it is unique for each of us. Regardless of age, body type or fitness level, everyone can practice yoga. There are no prerequisites other than willingness. I invite you to come and share this pathway to greater health, happiness and well-being.
